Hawaa was founded in 1988 by Khairy Ebada, one of Egypt’s pioneering fabric importers. With years of expertise in the textile industry, Ebada was driven by a vision to build a family legacy—one that would blend tradition, quality and vision.
In 1989 the first Hawaa boutique opened its doors, marking the beginning of a journey that shaped Hawaa’s identity. 
It was then that Essmat, the matriarch of the family, discovered her passion for sewing and joined the business. 
Despite having minimal experience at the time, she embraced the challenge and learned the craft firsthand. 
Through consistent preservence, she established her own workshop and has been dedicated ever since to designing and creating modest wear using Hawaa’s finest fabrics and textiles.
